Kids' Restaurant Week

Food. Fun. Family. This past June in Chicago, Cookie and Gourmet Magazines celebrated the first ever Kids' Restaurant Week – a fine dining experience for epicurean adults and adventurous little ones. Twenty of Chicago's top restaurants served up chef-picked specials, prix fixe menus, early dinner seatings, tasty treats and more, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Chicago's Green City Market.

The week-long promotion kicked off with an event at the Green City Market, featuring kid-friendly demos from renowned chefs such as Rick Bayless, and Sushi SKool courtesy of 2008 event sponsor Loews. Kids' Restaurant Week will expand to markets nationwide in 2009.
