Smart Cookie Awards

In April, Cookie recognized mothers who, through various philanthropic efforts, are making profound differences in the lives of women and children around the world at our third annual Smart Cookie Awards. Honorees included Salma Hayek, Debra Messing, Uma Thurman, and Judy Woodruff. Presenting sponsor Citi, awarded a generous $35,000 check to Readers' Choice Winner Amy Eldridge of Love Without Boundaries to support her amazing work with orphaned children in China. Honorees also received Cartier's exquisite Baby Trinity necklace, which symbolizes the power and beauty of connectedness. The glamorous red carpet event was hosted by 20/20 correspondent Deborah Roberts at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
